  2. I think the life that living on your own lets you come up with the rules or have no rules at all. Prosper and Bo chose to live on there own because of there Aunt that wanted Bo has a child. The dangers of living on there own would be the police detective and falling into canals or getting sick or no money left.I think that it would not be fun to live on your own because you would have to fend for yourself.

  3. 1: I think that Prosper and his friends decided to live on there own because their parents didn't treat them well. I think the advantages of them all living alone is that they don't have too worry about parents controlling there life and telling them what to do and what not to do. A potential danger is the police or other people could catch them and take them back, or someone could steal them. An option they have is to go back and try talking it out with their parents or at least try moving in with another adult. :D

  4. They chose too live on their own because they don't want too go to a orphange and Prosper doesn't want to be sepreated from Bo. Their advanteges are that they could live without people telling them rules they are aloud to sleep whenever they want and they don't need to do homework. The friends dangers are that police could be looking for them or rats could bite them. For Mosca,Hornet,Riccho, and Scippo they can go to a orphange for Prosper he can go to a boarding school for Bo he can live with his grandparents.

  5. Prosper, Bo, and their friends choose to live on their own because they either lived at an orphanage, they might have parents that did not care about them, their parents may have died or like Prosper and Bo, their siblings might have been separated. The advantages they might have are they do not have to go to school, they will not have mean parents and they might not live with random people you met at an orphanage or got adopted by. Some of the dangers they have are the might get put back into an orphanage, the might die of starvation or the might get arrested by the cops for stealing. Other options they have are go to an orphanage, go back to your parents, get adopted, or return yourself to the police.

  6. Question 2
In this story i think it is a paradox of stealing. If the children do not steal they will die but stealing is wrong.Stealing in this case is ok in my eyes because Bo and Prosper don't steal valuable things they don't really steal at all.

    ReplyDelete
  7. 2: I don't think they were justified for stealing!! Stealing is bad and they could have simply got a job, or find loose money on the streets....

    ReplyDelete
  8. 1. The kids probably want to live on their own because either their parents have died and they have no other place to go,or like Prosper and Bow their guardian or parent treats them badly or takes advantage of them. They would run away from home if they had to lived in an orphanage because they would have no real family and there guardian might have bad plans for them.

    ReplyDelete
  9. 1) The advanteges of being a orphan is you have no school and no parents to tell you to take out the trash. The potential threats is Victor Getts and the fact that scipeo could get caught and they could follow the kids home

    2) I think that prosper should start to steal in case he has to be the next "Thief Lord." and i think that the kids have the right to steal because they need money to by food and clothes

    3) I think Victor is a good detective because if he was spying on the kids he would be seen. I think it was good that Victor tricked Bo, I'm not siding with the detective but i'm just saying that Victor needed the info

    3) The Conte left them a pigeon I think the pigeon will play a important role in the raid. The purpose of leaving the pigeon is that it is trained to go into small areas and retrive any items that are in there,

    ReplyDelete
  10. question 3
I think that victor is lucky because he does not know every thing but he knows a little bit. I don't like that victor tricked Bo because they were doing fine on there own and that is sneaky. Which i don't really like.

    ReplyDelete
  11. They all live on there own because of there families are being hard on them all. The advantages of living on there own was they would not get caught steeling and Bo and Prosper would get to stay together and they do what they want to do without a parent. The potential dangers are they could get caught steeling and they would have too go to jail for a long time and Bo could be caught by Victor and have to leave his brother Prosper. The other options they have was they could go to a different town and find a family for them both to live in.

    ReplyDelete
  12. 1. They choose to live on there own because, every their parents did not want them or their guardians were mean to them witch caused them to run away. Their potential dangers are someone finding them.

    ReplyDelete
  13. 1.Prosper and Bo live on their own with all of their friends because their aunt and uncle are mean. The advantages of their life style are no parents to boss them around or school so they can worry about living and not homework. The potential dangers are getting caught by the police or getting hurt by falling out of a window. The other options they have are living with their aunt and uncle or in an orphange.
2.I think the kids were justified in stealing because if they don't they coulden't buy food or anything to eat.

    ReplyDelete
  14. 1.I think that they all choose to live on their own because when you live on your own, there are no rules and you can do whatever you want. The advantages of living the way that they are is that they can get anything that they need whenever they want and don't have to ask for parental permission. The dangers of living on their own is that they can get involved in fights and dangerous things when they don't have any help. They can't even ask for help or else they might get caught by the police or get put in a foster home which they don't want to happen. The only other option they have is to turn themselves in to a foster place to get put in another orphanage.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Bo and Prosper chose to live on there own beacuse there mother died. So they went to there grandpas house but then there aunt asked to keep bo but not prosper. So prosper took bo and ran off.
they dont need to be told what to do and can do whatever they want to do. the potential danger would be the can get hurt and they can be cought by the detictive. the other options are the can live with someone else.

    ReplyDelete
  16. (1) Prosper, Bo, and all the other orphans decided to live on their own probably because they did not feel anyone cared about them and felt that life would be better for them when they weren't in an orphanage or with their parents or family members. The advantages of their lifestyle are that they are able to do what they want and don't have people like parents telling them what to do. They also don't have school while living on there own.when they don't have school there is more time to do what they have to do to survive.

    ReplyDelete
  17. 1) They choose to live on there own because they do not want to go back to their families or go to an orphanage. Some of their advantages are that they have they do not have school and they do not get yelled at by their families they also don't have rules to follow. There dangers are that Victor could find their hide out and get all the children into a orphanage and "The thief lord" could go to jail.

    ReplyDelete
  18. 1. the advantages of being on your own is that you can do what you want when you want no one to tell what to do your basically you are your own parent. they are living on their ow because they ran away from there aunt Esther because she wants to have Bo all to her self and she wants to send Prosper off to boarding school. they live alone because they are outsiders. the dangers are people can kill or hurt them they can get sick and they don't have anyone to take care of you.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 1. Bo,prosper, and all their friends live on their own because of the hardships with their family back home. 2. The advantages of living on their own, they do what they want and don't have a parent telling them how to live. Also they rarely get caught stealing, which is good because they steal for a living. 3. The potential dangers of living on their own would be getting caught stealing and getting kidnapped by a strange person like Victor and be split up.4. Other options that they have are leaving each other and splitting up or Bo and Prosper would go back to their aunt and be at a home. Or they could go back to their family and never see each other again.

    ReplyDelete
  20. 1)They chose to live on their own because they don't want to be fostered. The advantages off this is that they could slip into a crowd and not be noticed. The dangers of this is that the detective is trying to get them.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 1. I think that they chose to live on their own because they had no rules to follow. The aunt wanted to keep them to live with her, but they chose to live in a movie theater with each other. There advantages are they can do whatever they want without anybody telling them what to and not do. There dangers are the detective is trying to follow them and turn them in, they could someday get caught for stealing, and strangers could try to kidnap them. There options are to stay and live in that movie theater, they could go live with there aunt, and turn themselves in.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Prosper, Bo and their friends choose to live on their own because since their aunt only wants Bo that leave Prosper alone. Since Proper cares so much about Bo they escape to Venice Italy so their aunt won't be able to find them. Their friends are trying to help them stay away from Prosper and Bo's aunt. The advantages of them living on their own is they don't have to follow their aunts rules, They don't have chores, and they don't need to clean up after themselves or anyone else.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yes I do think it was right for them to steal because how would they live and they should be able to chose what life they want plus it is not like they are going to steal the Mona Lisa.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I think they left because the weren't treated well. The advantages are that they don't have to be bossed around by their parents.the dangers the might have to go to jail or get hurt. The other option is they have to go to an orphanage.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @ Scott W
I do not think they only left because they wanted thier own rules.

    ReplyDelete
  26. 1) Prosper, Bo and their friends choose to live on there own because they once lived at an orphanage and disliked it, they might have parents that don't care for them, or have parents that have passed in the previous years. Or like prosper and Bo there guardian passed and there aunt wants to split the siblings up. The advantages in there lives are they don't have to be ruled by people they do not know and the parents might punish them for behaving in such a way they were originally allowed and or taught to do with there old parents. They also are going to grow up to be more familiar with being on there own in the real world. But a disadvantage is they mostly steel where as there parents or parental guardians could have taught them better where they could be more successful in life. There potential dangers are getting caught by the police and they would most likely be in the most trouble they would ever be in. The options they have are go back to the orphanages, turn them self in to the police and Victor, the detective looking for Prosper and Bo, or go back to there parents and or the foster homes they came from.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think that they all live on their own because they can do what they want to. The advantages that they have are that they can do whatever they want to like steel and live in a movie theater. The things that could go wrong are haveing a police man catch you steeling. The only other options they would have would be living in with their aunt.

    ReplyDelete
  28. 1. Prosper, Bo, and their friends choose to live on their own because none of their parents or Prosper and Bo's aunt and uncle don't care about them. All Prosper and Bo's aunt and uncle want is Bo. They want to send Prosper to boarding school. Some advantages that the orphans have are that they don't have to follow the rules. They have the freedom to do what ever they want. They get to roam free, but thy have to be careful. Nobody tells them what to do and they don't have to worry about their family if they don't love them. They also don't have to worry about school.Living with the Thief Lord is also an advantage because he is really good at stealing things and he helps them to get money by bargaining with Barbarossa. Some dangers that could occur is that they could get caught. The orphans don't want to get caught stealing and thy don't want anyone to know that thy are living in a run down movie theater. If somebody finds out that they are doing illegal things they could all get sent to jail. I think that the kids should steal things because they need to live and have food. They need to be healthy and make sure that their aunt and uncle don't find out that they are stealing things, but need to make sure that they look normal.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Prosper, Bo, and their friends chose to live on their own because they like having no parents to tell them what to do. The benefits are that they don't have to go to school, they don't have any rules (not even the law), and they can do things adults and tourists do during the day.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think they are living on their own because they make their own rules. The advantages are learning what life is like and feeling a sense of adventure. Potential dangers are police officers stray dogs and kidnappers. Options they have are turning their selves in or going to the orphanage.

    ReplyDelete
  31. 1. Bo, Prosper and there friends all stay alone because they do not want Prosper and Bo's aunt to find out where they are.The advantages of staying alone is the do not have to do chores and they do not have to hang up and pick up clothes.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Prosper,Bo,and there friends decide to live on there own because Prosper does not want his aunt Esther to take Bo away from him and if they went to an orphanage Esther would have found them because they probably searched all of the orphanages in Venice Italy.

    ReplyDelete
  33. 1. They choose to live on their own because Prosper and Bo would get split up and the other children have no rules and they like to live with Scipio

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes I think it's okay for the kids to steal because they need to eat something . If they don't steal they won't be able to survive.

    ReplyDelete
  35. i think Victor is lucky in ways. I think he is lucky that he tricked Bo so easily while Hornet was watching and nobody else. It made it even better because Hornet was to fascinated in her book. :D

It was very funny that Bo was tricked without him noticing it was Victor. Luckly, Victor chose a good kid because Bo couldn't have been more oblivious. Haha!

    ReplyDelete
  36. The potential dangers are strangers. Also if they got injured very badly they don't have the help of a adult. The other options they have are to turn themselves in or to go all the way back to where they came from and try to convince and prove to their aunt and uncle that Prosper is calm enough to stay with Bo and that he's responsible and not a the crazy kid his aunt thinks he is.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Yes I think it was okay that the kids steal because they need stuff like food to keep them alive.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I think Victor is a good detective because he solved many cases but not on finding kids.I didn't like how he tricked Bo to find out where they lives because Bo doesn't want to go back and Prosper doesn't want to lose him.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The Conte gave a pigeon to the thief lord.I think the purpose is so they can message them.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 2) I think that it is good for the boys to be stealing because they need to have food so that they don't starve. If they don't have food then they could end up dying. If Victor tells their aunt and uncle that they died they might blame it on Victor because he was the one that has been looking for them. Their aunt and uncle would also be suspicious. They also might accuse him that he has been looking for to long and is late.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think that Victor is a good detective because he as been on many cases before and is experienced. I also don't think that he is good at finding children because he has never been in a situation like this before. Since he has never been on a case where he has to find children I think that he was just lucky about finding the children. I don't think that it was very nice of tricking Bo because he is just a little kid. If he wanted to get information about the kids he could have just gone behind something that was close to the kids and hear what they were talking about. Even though that was probably the only way to get information out of Bo, I still think that wasn't very nice or polite.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think it was good for them to steal because they could get money and food for them to survive on. If not they would be forced to live with their aunt and uncle or die of starvation.

    ReplyDelete
  43. The item that Conte left in the basket for the Thief Lord was a pigeon. I think that the purpose of the pigeon is so that he can have the pigeon give a letter to one of the kids. He could let any of the kids know if he is in trouble or needs help. The pigeon could also peck at a someone to distract him so that the Thief Lord can get away. This is why I think that the pigeon will come in handy.

    ReplyDelete
  44. 1)I think that Prosper and Bo wanted to live on there on because they wanted a chance to have fun and get away from there parents who adopted them. The advantages they had were to make new rules for them and not have to worry about there new parents. The potential dangers they had were getting found by the police or detectives, getting caught by strangers and no one to help them, and become poor and live on the streets.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I kind of do and kind of don't think that the kids where justified to stealing because Prosper did not like stealing and so did Hornet. However, Scipio and Bo liked to steal.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think Victor was lucky because Bo may not have known who he was but Prosper recognized Victor even without the mustache. I think it was kind of right but also wrong that Victor tricked Bo. It was right for him to trick Bo so he can find out more information and give Bo to his aunt and uncle. It was wrong because it is not nice to lie to kids especially little kids.

    ReplyDelete
  47. The Conte left the Thief Lord a pigeon in the basket.I think the purpose of leaving this strange gift is that if he needs to send a message he can use the bird or if he needs a distraction he can use the bird or if Scipio needs to reach in small spaces he can use the pigeon.

    ReplyDelete
  48. 2. they had to steal because they needed the money and since they need food they need money to get food how else are they going to live without stealing
    3. i think he is just lucky because he didn't find them they just came near him out of dumb luck. i don't think it is right because he regrets taking the job because he knows it's not right to just leave them since they are just kids so it is not right because they will go with the wrong
4.because he needs the pigeon to send messages to the Conte because something might go wrong and the Thief Lord and the Conte needs to know to do the job

  51. I think Victor is a good detective because he knows all the tricks on the boys like when they died there hair he still new it was them. I think Victor tricking Boe was bad because now Boe and Prosper have a better chance of getting caught and then they would be seperated. The conte left in the basket for the Leaf Lord was a pigeon. The purpose of leaving the strange gift is the pigeon could fly and take mail and things to send to people important.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think it was good for them to steal. They needed to steal because they needed food and clothing. Besides they have to steal in order to live with "The Theif Lord".

Victor is not lucky he is a good detective. I think he is a good dective because a good dective has a plot and knows how to get to the sultion. it was a good idea of tricking Bo without tricking him he would not have a lot of information.

The conte leaft "The Theif Lord a baskett with a piegion inside. But the piegion was a messanger piegion. So mabey the conte and "The Theif Lord" could send messanges to each other. Also that way "The Theif Lord" could learn more about the job.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think it was good for them to steal so they could have food and money to survive on. If they didn't steal they would be forced to go live with there aunt and uncle or beg on the streets.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I agree with Andy or they would be unhappy living in an oprhanage.

  55. @andy I agree with you to because without stealing they could die or turn them selfs is

    ReplyDelete
  56. I think Victor is a good detective because he has solved many cases before. I think it was good of him to trick Bo because he is little and will answer any question because he doesn't know better. He could give useful information for Victor. Although he has not been on a case to find kids he has done well so far.

    ReplyDelete
  57. question 4
I think he left the pigeon (that's in the basket) So when they get it they attach it to the pigeon and , or to send letters or and questions they have. maybe its the only way to get a hold of the Conte

    ReplyDelete
  58. @ andy i do not think he is a very good detective when it comes to kids but he is some what good

    ReplyDelete
  59. @Chloe
That is true. I agree with you if they do get tired of stealing and don't like the feeling they could turn them selfs in.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @ andy
He is not good because he keeps losing them...

    ReplyDelete
  61. The Conte left them a pigeon. I think the pigeon will be useful to go into small areas with lots of people and retrieve stuff back to the movie theater. The pigeon could also be trained to steal so they can't suspect the group of stealing.

    ReplyDelete
  62. @ lauren
Yes because they might really need food but not have the guts to steal so they would turn them selfs in

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Andy and Chole Do you like this book because this is one of my favorite books now.

    ReplyDelete
  64. @ andy i do not think that is reasonable because a pigeon will fly back to its home ... which is with to conte...

    ReplyDelete
  65. @ lauren you spelled my name wrong and yes it is a thrilling book

    ReplyDelete
  66. @ andy
You have some good ideas but i definitly have a different perspective then you ... in a good way

    ReplyDelete
  67. The pigeon could be good to use later on, don't you think aND ALSO ITS A CARRIER PIGEON NOT A PIGEON THAT WILL GO BACK TO ITS HOME WHEN YOU LET IT OUT.

    ReplyDelete
  68. @Any & Chloe
I think you are both right. I can see both sides. But i have to agree with Andy. The piegion could be trained. Opps sorry

    ReplyDelete
  69. @ andy
for the question about victor you put hes done good on the kid case. Why do you think this?

    ReplyDelete
  70. I like the book and I just realized that put that all in cap locks.

    ReplyDelete
  71. @ Andy& Chloe
I got to go nice chatting with you. Bye

    ReplyDelete
  72. @ andy do you have any evidence to support that victors done well in the kid case...?

    ReplyDelete
  73. I think that because he has got good information about where they live and what they do from Bo which is getting steps closer to finding them.

    ReplyDelete
  74. @Andy
    he he =D Bye!

    ReplyDelete
  75. @ both of you a carrier pigion is trained to go back home thats every birds instict

    ReplyDelete
  76. How do you guys think Boboraosa met the thief lord?

    ReplyDelete
  77. 2) I do think they were justified in steeling because they all decided they wanted self respect and wanted to live as orphans. If the dont steel and fend for themselves how are they going to survive. People in Italy most likely are very nice and generous according to the book and I infer that they will lend a hand and give them food once in a while but not everyday and or every time. In the same way I believe it was and is not right for them to steel. If the cops find there hide-out with Mosca, Richio, Hornet, and Scipio they are all ready in trouble. There is nothing wrong with Prosper and Bo living on there own but if they steel too they are gonna be in trouble. If Victor finds them first and reports the others on the previous scenes he has witnessed they are in trouble and all going back to foster homes or there previous parents and or parental guardians. Prosper will probably go back to a foster home or where he first came from and Bo will go back with aunt Esther. Victor mght also be accused of "snooping" arounnd the boys and also being verified as a "stranger" talking to Bo.

  90. 3) I believe Victor is a good detective. If he has all the disguises and knows how to do everything but not look suspicious its seems to me that he is a really good detective and knows what hes doing. What confuses me is that he knows a lot but he said in the begining that he states that he only did reports on missing animals and little stuff like that; nothing like a missing kid. On the other hand he does question himself when he goes to talk to Bo when Hornet was watching Bo and the rest went to go and meet Conte in the confessionals. He was wondering whether or not he was a good detective or a lucky one. I also believe he is a lucky one because he says he has never done an "assignment" like this one and it seems to me that he is doing pretty well. I also dont think it was right to do what he did to Bo, but at the same time I think it was right. He is just trying to keep Bo safe in Italy. If everyone has to steel to survive I dont believe its a safe envirornment for anyone; esspecially Bo. Or even for any of us. If another "stranger" approches Bo and mentions that he should go get some candy that always is something bad. He could try to drug or poison Bo. I dont think Victor would do that because its not his job to kill him, just return him to aunt Esther. I feel Victor is a good detective and is doing the right thing, no matter how hard it is.

    ReplyDelete
  91. @Andy I agree that the pigeon could be used to steel things in small areas also it could be used to steel for the group for a while till the heat of the detective looking for them dies down.

Victor is not a good detective if Prosper can recognize him without his mustache.

    ReplyDelete
  97. @ Everyone

The pigeon can also be used to distract someone.

    ReplyDelete
  98. @Catelyn Yes at first but now i don't no. Now that Bo told Victor some information I'm not thinking so anymore. What do you think Catelyn??????

    ReplyDelete
  99. @Catelyn How so????

    ReplyDelete
  100. 2)Yes I think that it's okay for them to steal once in a while, but it shouldn't be a daily thing. I think that it's okay for them to steal once in a while because that's the only way they'll survive unless they turn themselves in.
3)I think Victor is lucky because he's not really trying hard to find them in my opinion. In the book it even said he didn't want to track them down but he already gave Bo and Prosper's aunt his word. I don't think it was necessary for Victor to trick Bo because Bo didn't know he wasn't suppose to give out personal information to Victor because Bo didn't know that he was they guy trying to catch the kids. Bo just thought he was some amusement guy trying to get peoples attention.
    4) The Conte left a pigeon for the Thief Lord.I think the Conte left the pigeon because it might be a sign of good luck or be a tool they'll need later considering the fact Victor attracted all those pigeons. He didn't have to do pigeons he could of done maybe miming or an instrument.

    ReplyDelete
  101. 4) The object Conte left for them all was a pigeon. I believe that the pigeon is for retriving information for what he assigned the Thief Lord. what else could a pigeon be used for? All I can think of is finding out evidence and bringing back in forth information and supplies the need to get the task done. Maybe to steel stuff they need to complete the mission. But wouldnt they pigeon just go home, or what happenes that if in the middle of bringing a item he drops it in the middle of no where and its top secret and the pigeon doesnt realize it. There goes the evidence of what the Thief Lord and his crew. Scipio will most likely go to juvey and then back to a foster home. Mosca will go to his original home. Rosca will go to wherever he came from along with Hornet. Prosper will most likey go to a foster home or to his new parental guardians. Bo will go back to aunt Esther and Victor will get payed. I dont think that Victors goal was to make anyone sad, and out of all Prosper will be the most sad and or mad because all he wants to do is look after his younger brother and prove to Bo that he wont break his promise. Put yourself in Prospers shoes. How would you feel, you broke a promise, lied to him, and who knows what type of danger Bo will ever be in. In predict that Victor will do something about them all being together again or atleat int he same foster home. Or even better if the Thief Lord does something about it because isnt the book named, "The Thief Lord?" All I hope is that they all have a happy ending.

  102. Hi Hola

Why is everybody on i got to go

    ReplyDelete
  103. @ Catelyn

Thats true, but if he can trick Hornet who Prosper and Bo went to in the first place, maybe he is good after all. By the way, I dint think he said that he knew him, only he was following him. But keep in thought that Mosca said that he recgonized him.

  104. @Olivia I did put my self in Bo's shoes and i would feel a little confused on what to believe.

  105. gonna go finish home work be on later bye.

  106. 2.I think that the kids should be able to steal because they have nothing else to get or drink and no money to buy the items so i think that they shouldn't get in trouble for stealing if somebody found out their secret.

This blogging is much better than writing on a piece of paper! Sorry...I know that that sentence was off topic but I just had to say it!

  107. @ madiie
    hi that is sooo true

    ReplyDelete
  108. 3. I believe that Victor is not a good detective in the case of being a bad or good person but is a good detective by being secretive, sly, and have many different disguises and faces. I also believe that Victor was very smart for tricking Bo like that!(I mean obviously I wouldn't like that if I was Bo or one of the other orphans.)It was also smart of Victor for putting on another disguise that hasn't been seen before!

  109. 4. The Conte left the Thief Lord (Schepio) a little messenger pigeon in his basket. I think that the Conte did this because he wants the Thief Lord to be successful with his stealing. I also think that the Conte wants the Thief Lord to have everything to survive living on his own and by himself.

    ReplyDelete
  110. @Olivia
I do think maybe the pigeon could be used to tell them a message but how would a living pigeon talk to him? I think that he could be used to deliver messages on a piece of paper or something or he might be used as an answer to a mystery that they need to solve in the future. He could be used for the key to an answer or something. He could also be used as maybe a weapon of some sort to attack someone like Victor.

    ReplyDelete
  111. mabey you can tie message on the bird

    ReplyDelete
  112. 2. I think that the kids were justified for stealing because without having parents and a real home, and considering the fact that they have only the money the thief lord brings them, how would they have be able to survive? I guess getting a job would work ,but the only problem with that is they have a better chance of being caught by Victor or their Aunt Ester

    ReplyDelete
  113. @Masie

Yes i agree with you Masie on stealing because it is hard to take care of things without your parents. They help us make the right decisions and tell what's right to do and what's wrong. I know I wouldn't do so good without my parents! And getting a job for them might be a little hard considering the fact that their wanted. Their boss could turn them in when they don't realize it.

  114. 3. I would say victor is a good and bad detective. The reason I say good is because he has a plan and is slowly trying to get more and more information about Prosper and Bow. The reason I think Victor is a bad detective is because he is not really taking action. He had quite a few opportunities ,but didn't take them.Going back to Catelyn's post, I agree Victor is a bad detective because Prosper is able to recognize Victor with his different outfits. I think that the way Victor tricked Bow was brilliant ,but bad at the same time. If I was Victor I would be proud of myself if I pulled that off,but I would aslo be mad at myself for tricking a little boy like that even thogh I was getting paid. Bow on the other hand had no idea he was getting tricked, which makes me feel bad.I think it was wrong for Hornet to just sit there and let Bow talk to strangers.

    ReplyDelete
  115. @ masie I think he is good and bad to

  116. 4.In the basket the Conte left a pigeon. I think there are a couple good reasons why he would leave a pigeon. I agree with Olivia. The pigeon could be used for retrieving information the thief lord might need to get to succeed in the task. Another reason he might leave it is because the thief lord might need the pigeon to get something that he can't reach or even to distract something like a pet or even a person so the thief lord may do the job.

  117. I am still wondering if Barborossa is going to play a part in this part of the book!

    ReplyDelete
  118. @ Catelny

I don't think the star palace movie theature was a success because if it was why are there homeless kids living in it. It also said in the book the screen was torn and all the chairs had been damaged or removed.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I think that it was alright for the kids to steal items because they could fend for themselves and they weren't the richest people there and they needed some type of protection and food. If they didn't steal they would be homeless and living on the street being starved to death.

    ReplyDelete
  120. 3)I think that Victor was really lucky because if hornet or anybody else would of known something would go bad and their aunt and uncle would blame everything on Victor. I dont feel good about Victor tricking Bo because anything could happen and the aunt and uncle could sson figure something out.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Conte left the piegon in the basket for the Theif Lord. the purrpose could maybe be for distracting others so they could escape or something, maybe the piegon could send messages to others, or other people could be scared of piegons and they could hurt someone if the piegon had to.

  125. I don't think so but they had to find out how to steal or they wouldn't be alive

    ReplyDelete
  126. I think he just gets lucky and he just ran in to Bo and try to trick him but he did not grab Bo so that means he has to go and find them. But I think the other people that ran away will fight him and let Bo and prosper run away

    ReplyDelete
  127. It wAs a pigen so when the thief lord gets the item he can let him know

    ReplyDelete
  128. Miss dabbeekeh can I go online and read more of the thief lord and answer more quistions.

    ReplyDelete
  129. #2 I think they liked to steal because that is how they are still alive.

#3 Victor just gets lucky. How I feel about him tricking Bo is I think it was a bad idea. He could have just follow them all the way to the movie theater without saying a word to them.

#4 the thing inside the box was pigeon. I think he gave them a pigeon because it could maybe help them with stealing this thing.

    ReplyDelete
  130. The thing inside the basket was a pigen I think the conte left the pigen for when the thief lord steals the item he can send a card to tell the conte that he stol the item. I think the purpose was when he steals it he can let him know or if the item is far away the thief lord can maybe eat the pigen. I know it's harsh but he needs to eat to survive.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I think the kids were justified into stealing becacuse " The Theif Lord" found them and taught them how to steal. They had to steal because they need clothes and food.

    ReplyDelete
  132. (2) I think Bo and Prosper are justified in stealing. They are justified in stealing because they have to earn money to survive. The only way they can survive is to have money and buy their necessities. For them they have to steal things and then sell them to get the money they need.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I believe Victor is actually a really good detective but the kids are also very cleaver. I do not like the fact that Victor tricked Bo but he did what he thought was needed to finish his job.Even though Bo is really just blindly following what his brother, Prosper, is doing he is still a little boy has runaway and Victor's job is to find Bo and Prosper and send them back with their Aunt Esther.

    ReplyDelete
  134. @ Caitlyn

I agree with you that Victor is a good detective and the kids are clever.

    ReplyDelete
  135. (4) In the basket the Conte left for them was a carrier pigeon. I think the same as Blake, I think that the purpose for the carrier pigeon was to let the Conte know once Scipio had stolen the item he wanted and the pigeon also could help defend them sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Yeah just because the kids are able to get away from does not make him lucky.

    ReplyDelete
  137. @ Catelyn

I know just because the kids got away from him does not make him a bad or lucky detective. The kids are cleaver and suprised Victor when he was questioning himself.

    ReplyDelete
  138. @Maddie...You claim that Victor is a good, yet bad detective, however, you only support your reasons for him being successful. In what ways do you think that Victor is lacking detective skills.

    ReplyDelete
  139. @ Blake and Caitlyn

I agree with both of you that the carrier pigeon could be used to let the Conte know when the Thief Lord stole thw wing.

    ReplyDelete
  140. @ Catelyn... I know because the Conte never said how he would know when they stole the wing. The pigeon could be used to carry the message to him.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Prosper and Bo choose to run away because their aunt is going to separate Prosper and Bo by making Prosper go to boarding school so, Prosper ran away with Bo. The advantages they have is that they can steel and do anything they want and the dangers is that they could be caught and sent to jail.

    ReplyDelete
  142. @Miss Dabbeekeh
I'm going to change my answer because I see what you mean and now that I read more, I am changing my response to question 3.

    ReplyDelete
  143. @Samantha(:
You think the pigeon will attack one of the people there? A little violent if you ask me.. Otherwise, i totally agree with the rest. My best choice out of the few possibilities is the bird will send a message to someone. I hope you agree, :)

    ReplyDelete
  144. #3 I think victor is lucky because the kids know he is a detective he is just running away so yes I think he is getting lucky.Victor tricking Bo is clever because he knows information about the gangs hideout.

    ReplyDelete
  145. @samantha... I don't think the people in Venice will be frightened of the pigeons because there everywhere in Venice and in most cities you can find them. I do agree with your statement that "it could send messages."Can you explain a little more on why people would be afraid of it.

    ReplyDelete
  146. @ Olivia

True I think Victor is a good detective but he is a very unlucky one.

    ReplyDelete
  147. @Katelyn i agree with you but i don't think hes bad but some times he dosnt think right but he gets lucky

    ReplyDelete
  148. @ Caitlyn..... I agree with you that victor is a good detective because he knew that the boys died there hair and he knew it was a trick and i do think it was mean he tricked Bo.

    ReplyDelete
  149. @Blake.....
I agree with you that the pigeon can tell the Conte where to meet Scipio.

    ReplyDelete
  150. @Masie....

I agree with Masie that Victor isn't taking action. A good detective would take part and find as many possibilities that him or her could find. I also agree with Masie and Catelyn when they say that Prosper and can easily know that it is Victor. He needs to have better disguises.

    ReplyDelete
  151. @Hannah

I disagree with Hannah on thinking that it wasn't nice to trick Bo. I thought it was good so he could get useful information and also he is little so its easy to get private information like where they live and stuff.
